Andrew Blench is an accredited School Resource Management Advisor (SRMA) via the Department for Education. He has undertaken numerous deployments for the department advising LA Maintained and Academy Trust Schools on all aspects of effective resource management. Due to the success of the initial pilot,  the programme has been extended until August 2021 -https://www.gov.uk/government/news/esfa-extends-schools-resource-management-adviser-pilot  We have extensive experience of advising schools and trusts on the most effective use of their resources to give the best outcomes possible for the young people our schools serve. This includes a variety of educational settings including LA Maintained, Single Academy Trust (SAT), Multi Academy Trust (MAT), Special Schools, University Technical College (UTC),  Inclusion Units, Primary, Secondary and Post 16 Provision. 

  • Financial Health Check

  • Schools and trusts can commission School Business Partner to complete a basic Financial Health Check or a more comprehensive assessment which will be based around the elements within the Department for Education Level 1 to Level 4 descriptionsPlease contact us to discuss your requirements and to obtain a customised quotation.

  • Procurement Tender Management

  • Researching options for products and services, obtaining quotes, preparing formal tendering documentation (for higher value purchases) & managing the tender process if needed.

  • Compilation of asset register, identifying items for capitalisation (academies only), marking of assets, annual audit check of assets.

  • Private Funds Audit 

  • Completing the annual audit of school private funds, PTA or staff associations funds.

  • Bid Writing

  • Working with school staff in identifying sources of external funding for projects. Writing and/or submitting grant applications.
